Knitted “Arles Sausage” by Maison Cisson
Knitted “Arles Sausage” by Maison Cisson
A little stuffed, certainly, but so funny. We are very attached to the Arles sausage, it was the first sausage made by Maison Cisson, and with its pretty cream beige wool, it goes with everything. Maison Cisson continues today the tradition of Arles sausage in a very personal version 100% pure knit. Its traditional stringing is made with a white cotton food rope.
Hanging from a small hook with a red and white checkered dish towel, it will emphasize any kitchen wall. The real Arles sausage is a charcuterie from Bologna. It was imported to Arles in 1655 by the Arlesian charcutier Godart. Of a gray cylindrical shape, and a weight of about 300 grams in its charcutière version, it has a length of 15 to 20 centimeters. As for its diameter, it varies between 4 and 5 centimeters.
The wool Arles sausage, a Maison Cisson product, the n°1 knitted French charcuterie.
